Enjoy a fun-filled family day out at the Melksham Food and River Festival in King George V Park on 4th & 5th September 2021. There's lots to do for the whole family, boat trips, raft race and canoeing on the River Avon, a children's funfair, face painting, cookery demonstrations, live music and many artisan food and produce stalls to browse around in the park. Plus plenty of hot food & drink stalls and an onsite bar for whenever you need some refreshment.

Everything is looking very positive for this year's Melksham Food and River Festival with interest growing from our stallholders and fifty stalls already booked. The committee has been hard at work and arrangements for entertainment and activities in the park and on the river are progressing well.

We're all looking forward to getting out and about again and we're working hard to ensure that this year's Festival will give everyone the opportunity to confidently get outside and enjoy themselves in Melksham's King George V Park with more spacing between stalls and wider pedestrian routes throughout the Festival site.

We hope you'll keep checking back on our website for the latest updates on what we have planned for this year's Festival on the weekend of the 4th & 5th September.

Today we've added a page about our brilliant local canoe club and the demonstrations they have planned for you on the river at this year's Festival.

Best Regards

After a challenging few months we are now working hard to get this year's Melksham Food and River Festival organised so that we can all enjoy getting out again and having some fun. We've a lot to do and will keep you updated on this site, adding new webpages with details of everything we're planning for you to enjoy in the park and on the river over the weekend of the 4th and 5th September 2021.

We launched this year's website on New Year's Day to give stallholders the opportunity to book early and assist in planning their business activities thru 2021 recognising that the past few months have been extremely difficult for all of our local small businesses. This update includes information on some of the river activities that will be available for your enjoyment at this year's Festival.

We look forward to meeting up with all of our brilliant stallholders and our many Festival visitors in September, in the meantime please keep checking back on this website for updated information on this year's MFRF.

Best Wishes
