CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES

Together with all of the other attractions on the Festival site, there are some activities specifically for our younger visitors

 

On Saturday and Sunday we welcome the return of Danny Toogood’s Fairground.

 

Enjoy the Fun of the Fair with Two Children's Rides, plus an Inflatable Slide, an Inflatable Dome and Side Stalls including Hook a Duck, Sweet Cork Shooter and Test of Strength.

By popular demand, our Festival Face Painter Barry Moger is back.  Children love his artistry and this year, Barry will be busy painting faces on Saturday and Sunday.  Barry kindly donates a proportion of his takings to the Festival.

Phil Newbury brings 'Frankie' his splendid shire horse to the Festival on Sunday.  Children can have a ‘leading rein’ ride on Frankie, a lovely experience and wonderful photo opportunity. Frankie stands 15.3hh, he is a Shire x Welsh Cob horse and is 17 years old.  Frankie likes people and loves giving children’s rides at the Festival.

If you're aged six and over and enjoy a challenge there is the Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team (WOLT) who offer a Climbing Wall (6yrs +) and River Traverse Wire (8yrs +) for you to attempt.
